Is There No Justice?

(Section 3 of Part 3 – Is There No Justice?)

I wanted to know if some people who got declared received proper justice actions. I had read LRH’s policies on justice and justice procedures and had gotten a lot of affinity for them. To see if we had a suppressive management in the church, a good test would be whether these justice procedures were used and whether or not they were used fairly and correctly.

I found out from Geir Isene of Norway, an OT VIII who had recently been declared (that’s correct, an OT VIII who had somehow gotten all the way up the Bridge, through all his Sec Checks and Eligibility cycles, was now an SP?) that he received NO justice actions whatsoever.  No Comm Ev, no nothing.

Another OT VIII, Sherry Katz, got declared and not only didn’t receive any justice actions, but she wasn’t even told of her declare.  She had to find out from friends who had received an email, warning them and others of her declare.

Amy Scobee routed out of the Sea Org, having done the full routing form — Sec Checks and all.  She was handed her declare order as she was leaving the Flag base – no Comm Ev.

I pointed these things out to the terminals who were handling me at the org and there was no attempt made to prove that any justice actions were actually done on these people.

This system is for use in all matters of justice in Scientology.

There can be no personal security without easily accessible, swift and fair justice within a group.

I have been working for some time on a system of justice acceptable to Scientologists and have evolved one in Committees of Evidence. These work excellently by actual test and satisfy the requirements of justice.

I require that full use be made of these Committees in all matters relating to Scientology organizations, groups and concerns.

I do not recommend that individuals in authority act in disciplinary measures or capacities without employing Committees of Evidence. – LRH (HCO PL 7 Sept 1963 Committees of Evidence, Scientology Jurisprudence, Administration Of – The text above can be found in the 2007 version of Introduction to Scientology Ethics on page 337)

This, then, is the primary breakdown of any justice system – that it acts on false reports, disciplines before substantiation and fails to confront an accused with the report and his accuser before any discipline is assigned, or which does not weigh the value of a person in general against the alleged crime even when proven.” – LRH (HCO PL 24 Feb 1969 Justice, OEC Vol 0, page 699)

Justice is a necessary action to any successful society. Without it the brute attacks the weak, the decent and the productive.” – LRH (HCO PL 7 Dec 1969 I Ethics, The Design Of)

Please understand, this lack of the application of justice was a real red flag for me.

I had always been led to believe that the management of the church, especially David Miscavige, was all about applying LRH data.  Of course management would want to make sure that the policies on justice were applied. After all, they would stop at nothing to make sure that all LRH’s policies were applied, wouldn’t they?  But now I was being shown hard evidence that this was not the case, in fact quite the opposite.  Could it be that this reputation of COB and management, being hounds for green on white, was all a lie?  If so, then was I supposed to just believe their claims that Marty Rathbun, Mike Rinder, Amy Scobee, Steve Hall and Jeff Hawkins were all lying? I had evidence before my very eyes that the church management was living a lie.  I could see that policy was being blatantly violated!

Next…What? No Auditors?

I can tell you from personal experience Sea Org Members have no security whatsoever . I believe this is a major WHY as to the ruin of that group. There is NO access to “swift, fair justice”. There is nobody to take a K.R. on David Miscavige. There is no policy on “the hole”. The CMO staff below him are hystericals in terror and they are sitting on top of the Orgs. And it makes for an Organization of “Brutes attacking the weaks”.

“I do not recommend that individuals in authority act in disciplinary measures or capacities without employing Committees of Evidence.”

Clearly, David Miscavige and the people beneath him have no regard for this recommend from Hubbard.

There is no more ethics, basically only justice actions forced upon the individual.
